2016 Grammy Awards

Musical artist Aloe Blacc performing at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards after-party

It’s no secret the real party begins after the award show ends. This year the Grammy Awards outdid themselves with an even bigger, bolder, and more delicious after party.

The Barbie Candy Circus was a larger than life experience. I felt like a kid in a candy shop upon entering the colorful, booze infused room. Giant candy displays and balloons held stylish circus clowns performing overhead to pop hits like Aqua’s I’m a Barbie Girl. Multiple buffets of food featured late night favorites and gourmet dishes like filet mignon.

The dessert extravaganza was color coordinated candies, cakes and colored popcorn! To top it all off there were endless drinks of Cîroc and Don Julio being served at multiple bars. And an unexpected twist – free McDonald’s – fries anyone? Adorable servers navigated through the party with trays of freshly made McDonald’s favorites.

The guests were stylish and fun, colorful spring gowns filled the dance floor for the first performance of the after party – Mister Aloe Blacc! He encouraged guests to form a Soul Train dance party line leading to the foot of the stage and sang joyfully as guests shimmed and shook their way to the end. After a good hour and half private concert, Aloe wrapped up the set with his number one hit Wake Me Up.

We can’t wait to attend next year!
