Initially launched in 2020, the NAACP Hollywood Bureau x Society Awards Scholarship was created to support and encourage commercial art education in the United States.

In 2020, the NAACP Hollywood Bureau and Society Awards partnered to offer the first-ever NAACP x Society Awards Scholarship. We launched this scholarship to encourage and support commercial art education in the United States. There is an incredible market need for talented artists to blend fine art, marketing and aesthetics.
The NAACP x Society Awards Scholarship 2022 Winners
Society Awards is excited to announce the winners for this year's NAACP x Society Awards Scholarship! Three scholarships have been awarded as follows:
First Place ($5000): Gabrielle Bruce – Monmouth University
Second Place ($2000): Zoe Colston – University of California, San Diego
Third Place ($1000): Ryan Turner – Pace University
