The MTV Movie & TV Awards aired this past Sunday, May 16 with host Leslie Jones and Snoop Dogg as the evening's DJ. After a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fan-voted show returned in front of an in-person audience at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards included the first-ever multi-day event. The second night of the program was hosted by stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser and celebrated achievements in reality TV. This inaugural event, dedicated to the best in unscripted entertainment, aired on Monday, May 17.
The MTV Movie & TV Awards is a film and television awards show presented annually on MTV since 1992. It has always been an innovative and exceptionally entertaining event. It was one of the very first awards programs wot have winners decided by the general public. Voting is now done through MTV's official website. Winners of this honor receive the renowned "golden popcorn" statue.
