BLACKPINK have broken numerous industry and Guinness World records during their rise to global fame and adoration. In recognition of reaching 50 million subscribers on their YouTube channel, YouTube wanted to present the group with something really impressive to mark the occasion.

YouTube doesn't offer 50 million subscriber awards. Instead, they wanted to create a unique custom gift to celebrate the incredible work that goes into delivering content to fans on the YouTube platform. The gift would also serve as an official invitation for BLACKPINK to perform a live concert on YouTube.

Creating the BLACKPINK 50 Million Subscriber Award

We incorporated high-end Lucite acrylic in varying shades of pink to achieve the large-scale sculpture. The form incorporates the YouTube logo emerging as an extrusion from the opaque pink base. The gift was sent in a custom protective brief case only accessible with a code.
