JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a high-performing Director of Sales to help us meet our aggressive customer acquisition and revenue targets. You will lead our sales efforts by crafting our sales plan, building our sales team, and coaching them to maximize their potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Own and lead sales efforts by creating and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that expands our customer base and ensure our presence and reputation as the best in the business
Lead hiring and coaching of sales team to ensure that they hit aggressive sales goals
Open and close new deals - this is a “player - coach” role - and your contribution as a salesperson will be important
Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales reps
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Create and own revenue and expenses forecasts
Be a role model and superhero for the company, filling in gaps and assisting across the entire organization
REQUIREMENTS
Successful sales rep, consistently exceeding targets as an individual
Successful sales manager, consistently exceeding targets as a team
Experience hiring and training salespeople
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Committed to continuous education through reading, workshops, seminars, and conferences
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization

You’ve successfully built a sales team and have excelled at both sales and management
