JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Executive plays THE critical role in driving sales and revenue for the company, driving client and partner perception, and setting an example for the entire company. The SE is a prospecting position that is responsible for contacting potential clients and bringing in new business. Using a consultative sales approach, the Sales Executive will identify and develop a good understanding of the customer's business needs and deliver an initial value proposition. The Sales Executive is responsible for managing the beginning stages of the sales cycle; bringing the potential client to the table and quarterbacking to Account Managers and Executives who get the project underway.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of sales opportunities
Maintaining accurate client records and prospecting tasks in CRM
Responsible for qualifying and understanding customer’s business needs
Developing product subject matter expertise and align with other team members for collaboration and best practices
Utilizing consultative selling skills to identify key trends, uncover customer needs and leverage industry knowledge and applications to find and close sales opportunities
Attaining objectives and quotas assigned by management
Being honest and proactive in all your communications – internally and externally
REQUIREMENTS
2-5 Years Outside Sales and/or Account Management experience
Must be highly motivated, self-starter, and have excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
Degree or equivalent work experience
Previous B2B sales experience
