At Society Awards, our Sales team handles all aspects of our customers needs, they are the center of the wheel. It is a blend of relationship building, heavy project management, internal coordination, design process participation, pitching and new business development - a dynamic role truly, and the day goes by very fast. As a Senior Account & Sales Executive, you will be a key member of our Sales team, which is at the heart and soul of our organization. Sales runs the company. After a long period of training (we realize no one has sold awards before, certainly not the way we do), you will be responsible for bringing in new business and handling our biggest and best accounts.
Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, along with strategic planning for production, design, and fulfillment
Coordinating with all internal departments from art to production to billing
Identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
Establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects in order to bring in new business
Identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards, including following established sales processes and CRM requirements
Following our Standard Operation Procedures which make order from chaos and keep our customers happy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; you are charismatic, connect well with people in a genuine way and the type of person that can 'talk to a wall'. We only sell awards to companies that already use awards - we do not convince anyone to start an award program, so this is a high-end, dignified sale. We are best in the world at filling the existing need; we do not create the need.
Detailed oriented with strong process orientation; you understand and appreciate that being successful in a sales position is as much about following a process and being diligent in your follow through as it is anything else - the CRM accurately and constantly updated is the difference between pacific days, happy teams, and loyal customers vs. constant fire drills and anxiety (and we will not tolerate the latter).
Strong ownership mentality and results orientation; you will do whatever it takes to meet goals and are the type of person to put in the extra effort needed to achieve excellence
Agile thinker and quick learn; able to connect the dots, process information quickly and innately curious and driven to learn, with a desire for self-improvement

Experience using CRM Software (Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Etc)
4+ years experience in sales/business development
Microsoft Office

We need someone with a strong sense of urgency, who is extremely organized and disciplined when it comes to following our sales processes, but who also knows what it means to 'close' and bring a deal across the finish line. You are the type of person who is not satisfied with the status-quo and holds extremely high standards for success and who brings strong attention to detail to everything you do because you know that it is the little things that separate good from excellent.
