JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced web developer to manage web-based commerce projects, including stock award sales and custom award projects, handling all aspects of our Sales and Marketing team’s needs. We need a developer who can build functionality, enhance security patching, and maintain our e-commerce website using the Magento platform. The developer will provide software-focused enterprise-wide solutions and conduct root cause analysis and determine corresponding action items. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in Magento 2, custom module development, extension, and integration.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
You are accountable for ensuring our e-commerce platforms are well controlled, operating effectively and aligned with business needs. In addition to daily business support tasks, this role is responsible for assisting in identifying and implementing process improvements to these systems and other core systems.
You will work closely with experienced Sales Executives to bring large, high-end custom award clients (ie. YouTube, NATAS, JUNOS, etc.) award store websites to fruition.
You will be involved in all aspects of web development, including efficient landing pages, website navigation, product pages, checkout, cart abandonment, and post checkout interactions.
You will develop testing plans and troubleshoot issues related to website issues.
Work with the Marketing team to report on relevant maintenance issues and security as well as make HTML5 updates to our main site for new content and SEO.
Work with third party development as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Magento Certification Preferred
Experience building and executing website tests (A/B Testing)
Working proficiency in e-commerce platform(s) (Magento 2, Shopify, Woo Commerce, etc.)
Ability to create reusable HTML code, and create organized, well thought out CSS for consistent user experience across multiple sites.
Prior experience with CRM solutions (Zoho) is a plus.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years of Magento 1.x + Magento 2.x experience with Magento Custom Module Development Front End and Back End.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with web development technologies (HTML5, CDD, XML, JSON, JavaScript, AJAX, Web browsers)
Bachelor’s Degree
