The appearance of laser engraving varies significantly depending on the material used. Lasering acrylic and crystal creates a white frosted effect, while black plates reveal gold or silver designs depending on the underlying aluminum. Sandblasting offers a contrast to engraving, as it allows for color filling. When working with marble, it is recommended to use color filling to enhance the contrast between the material and the sandblasted design. However, with crystal, you can opt out of colorfill, leaving a beautiful frosted white copy.
