Namb Lark, with its graceful, skyward-reaching form, was named for a playful and energetic character. The awards namesake songbird is known for its duality a ground-dwelling, flight-capable species. Namb Lark finds similar duality in being both grounded and uplifting.
The central, metal form is made up of two extruded arms that narrow and twist as they rise upward from the base. Their curving planes and sharp creases create an organic, yet distinctly modern, effect. The twisting surfaces come to life with a mirror-chrome finish, achieved through advanced electroplating and hand-polishing. Finally, the form is mounted on a tapered, geometric base, crafted from subtly-veined, black marble.
Each Namb Lark is individually-numbered as part of a limited release and arrives in custom silver gift packaging, exclusive to the Namb + Society Awards collection.
