The Super Bowl is the biggest advertising event of the year, drawing in hundreds of millions of viewers and advertising’s most award-winning creative.
For the 2015 Super Bowl, the Clio’s introduced another juried competition to their roster, the Clio Creative Bowl, where a panel of industry experts would select the best commercial aired during the big game. The Clio’s came to Society Awards, as the long-standing manufacturer of the iconic Clio statuette, to create a trophy as impressive as the honor of best ad on the biggest day in advertising. What we created is the largest Clio in history, the Super Clio, towering over its sister statue at nearly 2 ft high, boasting a shiny silver finish.
Of the 61 commercials aired on February 1st, the judges selected BBDO New York’s’ “The Brady Bunch” Snickers ad as the winner of the inaugural Clio Creative Bowl. The first Super Clio award was presented to the winning agency in New York last month.
